Delete your CityWatch account
CityWatch — civic problem-reporting app. This page explains how to request deletion of your CityWatch account and the data associated with it.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
- Open the CityWatch app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the request. You can optionally choose “Delete everything” to also remove all reports you created.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address registered to your account:

Include the email or phone number used to register.
What happens after you request deletion
- Your account is immediately deactivated and enters a 30-day grace period, during which you can restore it by signing in again.
- After 30 days, your account is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Data that is deleted
- Profile data: name, email address, phone number, password, profile photo.
- Authentication data: sessions and push-notification tokens.
- Subscription/area-watch settings.
- If you chose “Delete everything”: all reports you submitted, including their photos and videos.
Data that may be retained
- If you did not choose “Delete everything”, the public reports you submitted remain visible but are no longer linked to your identity.
- Billing and invoice records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
